  1. Trying to get the CTS-V from stock 550 hp to 750+ hp. Headers, pulley, intake, exhaust
  2. Not exactly the same -- this is a bolt-on supercharger rather than a complete designed-with-supercharger package. Should be a nice power adder regardless, but a dealer add-on rather than factory installation.
  3. Cadillac is preparing to supercharge the Escalade, according to a recent report. The body-on-frame General Motors SUVs that it shares its basic underpinnings with are allegedly in line to receive a big increase in power, too. https://www.autoblog.com/2021/02/15/cadillac-escalade-gm-suvs-to-get-supercharger/ I think this is good news overall, and may pave the way to recognizing an Escalade-V market.
  4. Hi Mike; I ran an update on the forum after I saw this just to get it out of the way. I see gadgets to the upper right; do you not see those? We can setup a call if that would be faster.
  5. Transportation range, comfort, and amazing acceleration; I am not sure that Cadillac totally gets that part of the allure of the Tesla's is how quick they are.
  6. https://www.hemmings.com/stories/article/1967-cadillac-fleetwood-eldorado Photography courtesy of General Motors General Motors' prestige division brazenly declared that its 1967 Fleetwood Eldorado was the "World's Finest Personal Car." It was a provocative assertion for a newcomer to an established market, where the Thunderbird, the progenitor of the species, was competing with the Riviera, Toronado, and Grand Prix for the hearts and wallets of an upscale clientele. This new Cadillac was the highest-priced offering in the personal/luxury car fray.
  7. Cadillac planned to build just 250 examples of each of its new Blackwing sedans. But the cars, available for the first time Tuesday, sold out in minutes. The automaker now plans a second production run of each car, and has begun accepting waitlist requests. Read more: https://www.kbb.com/car-news/cadillac-blackwings-sold-out-in-minutes-more-production-planned/ I don't think they actually said they only planned to build 250 of each; they said they would only take pre-orders for 250 of each.
  8. Pretty much every history of automotive tailfins establishes the Harley Earl-led field trip of GM designers in 1940 to see the then-secret P-38, then jumps right on ahead to 1948, when the newly restyled Cadillac debuted, tailfins and all. Franklin Q. Hershey often gets a nod, and that's about all most people care to dig into it. Were they to dig a little further, though, they might discover a more meandering development path for the tailfin, one that nearly placed the feature onto Vauxhall's postwar cars instead of Cadillac's Read more: https://www.hemmings.com/stories/2021/02/02/w
  9. The 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing and CT4-V Blackwing represent the pinnacle of Cadillac performance and craftsmanship, leveraging championship-winning racing heritage to create the most track-capable Cadillacs ever, while continuing to set new standards for luxury and comfort. Leveraging a Cadillac racing history that began in 1949 and has seen sustained success over the last two decades, the V-Series Blackwing models were developed with driver engagement and performance at the top of mind. “V-Series Blackwing stands for the very highest level of execution from Cadillac and offers a
  10. The 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing and CT5-V Blackwing achieve an artful balance between form and function. Descended from the brand’s racing-derived V-Series legacy, the design elements of the new V-Series Blackwing sedans support and complement their track-capable performance, while advancing the V-Series’ motorsports-inspired heritage of styling and enhanced refinement. “As the ultimate performance versions of our V-Series lineup, the prime directive for their designs was to maintain authenticity and integrity, while also raising the bar,” said Andrew Smith, executive director,
  11. New 2021 Episode! Our '76 Cadillac Hearse gets some engine upgrades to help it get down track. Plus, Tommy goes on the hunt for an axle to keep all that power to the pavement.
  12. Everyday Driver visits the CT4 for a real-time test drive. Warning: Not a positive review
  13. I was disappointed to find after I paid for a very expensive EBTCM for my XLR that there were refurbished units available, so some research may be profitable first. Not sure on the reprogramming.
  14. Almost no commentary; this must be video to support a classified ad on Hemmings? Lovely convertible; I suppose this is a Series 62.
  15. This week's rental is the 2021 Cadillac XT4 350T. I go over some of the features, gimmicks and give my honest opinion about the vehicle.
  16. Interesting take on an Escalade Widebody. Not going to be everyone's cup of tea but I appreciate the work.
  17. This is a couple car review of the all-new 2021 Cadillac Escalade luxury full-size SUV.
  18. Long infomercial to sell this car. Some appearance mods, air ride suspension, redone interior, new wheels. Kind of like the 'hot wheels' version of a Cadillac instead of the matchbox version.
