  1. I have a 2002 Deville and the buttons behind the steering wheel have never been lit up! ( I.E. the eng/met, dspl mode, reset trip A/B. & info, info reset, on/off buttons) Was wondering if these buttons light up or if they're supposed to be plain. Dont want to buy new buttons for nothing! Thanks!
  2. still looking to upgrade your deville to nav?

  3. If anyone can give me some advice. I have a 2002 base cadillac deville and I am considering upgrading my factory bose radio to a factory Navigation radio out of a 2003 deville. What are the risk if any? And what additional equipment might I need. Any advice is Appeciated! Thanks!
  4. Thanks. What I had to do was take a single din stereo kit for the 02-05 Deville and modify it to fit a double din. The brackets on the single din kit were an exact fit. What I did have to do was fabricate what held the stereo to the finished bracket. I used a firm but flexable metal and screwed it to the kit in the shape of a box. Not bad for a first attempt, but right now I'm designing several others for the Deville but with an easier attachment. I'll let you know how I make out. If you have any other questions let me know. Definately let me know how that works out. I'm trying to figure out how I'm gonna make mine fit when I get it. Been looking at A Kenwood Excelon but wasn't sure how I was gonna get it to fit. Might have to hire you to make me a bracket!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep me informed.

  6. That looks GREAT! Did you have to fab a bracket to make the radio fit or did you find one that would work?
  7. Thanks JimD! I appreciate it. I figured thats what I had to do. I was just making sure I wasn't over looking th hook up. I'll keep you informed. Thanks Alot for your help!
  8. OK! I got my mirrors installed, but the signals don't work. My old mirror had one plug onthe end that plugged into the door controller, the new ones have three. The first plug I just replaced with the existing, the second plug fit into the spare spot on the door controller, the third I'm not sure. It's the small plug (One wire blue and the other black/white). Any suggestions?
  9. I have a 2002 Deville (Base) and I want to add heated seats And turn signal mirrors. Does anyone know if the wiring harness in the door are the same for the base as it is for the DHS or will I have to change the wiring harness before I add the swithches and mirrors. Anyone with any knowledge?
