Wire Connection Hanging Behing Engine

Does anyone know what and where this is suppose to connect to? I was underneath the car today looking for power steering fluid leaking and seen this connector hanging down the back side of engine below the coil packs against the firewall.

The wires run along the firewall just under the ac line and either go inside the cabin or fuse panel drivers side under hood. I cant tell because the wires go into a bigger wire harness and it is all taped up.

Here is a couple pictures http://s178.photobucket.com/albums/w277/harleydavfatboy/wire%20connection/

Thanks.

Just a thought, but we have had a few members ask the same question, it could be pre-wiring for a heated windshield, I could not see the connector end

It looks like the wire harness that connected to your heated windsheild...whether you have one or not it may just be part of a standardized wireing harness or a PO had the windsheild changed. Do you have a momentary switch on your console between your heated seat switches? :D
