I've got a Canadian car so I have that stupid spedometer too...the one that goes up to 240...It looks cool because it looks like you can go that fast, but it's very annoying to try to see how fast you're going.

I agree when you run fast it's quite hard to see exactly where you are..

...wonder how looks like a us panel?

Beautiful car. Is it just me or does the front bumper look like it protrudes out less than the ones here in the States??

you're right and i'm not surprised.. cause generally speaking european bumpers are less protuberant as us ones.. (or used to be..)

mine is damaged, wonder how easy it is to have it fixed? (find right mastic and colors..?)

I also see chrome around the grille shell, US STS is all paint.

Not so. Mine has the chrome around the grill, it's just not as noticeable with my paint color.

My guess is the speedometer on exported Cadillacs is recalibrated to accommodate high speeds in KPH. If your Seville cluster works like my Deville's, there is a display mode button on the dash. If you press it, it will give you a digital speed read-out in the center of the cluster just above the "PRND321" display. This makes it easy to read your speed at a glance.

I'm curious, what is the spare parts availability in France? A few months ago, I was in touch with a forum member in England who was having difficulty getting parts for his Seville. He said he used to be able to get Cadillac parts at Vauxhall dealers but that GM has since stopped supplying them. If parts are more available in France, it could benefit British Cadillac owners as well.

WOW! Nice wheels! ;) That red color is even rare back here in the U.S. I haven't seen many red Cadillacs.

By the way, those are beautiful pictures of France and I presume your family and friends.

Add power to leave problems behind. Most braking is just - poor planning.

Mine has the chrome around the grille and painted in the middle, then again, mine is Canadian.

Poobah,

Yep, mine has that too. I usually have that up
