Bruce Nunnally
@Caddyinfo if you're in Texas how did you get away from having a front plate? I almost cried with mine! pic.twitter.com/hQ59vspmt9— Patrick (@patrickbec) June 14, 2016 Bruce 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Follow me on: Twitter Instagram Youtube
Bruce Nunnally
.@patrickbec good looking #Cadillac My installation guy cried. No where on ATS-V it doesn't block an air intake, so work in progress— Bruce Nunnally (@Caddyinfo) June 14, 2016 Bruce 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Follow me on: Twitter Instagram Youtube
Bruce Nunnally
@Caddyinfo lol I see. This is how they handle it in the EU. pic.twitter.com/NzTu4uHG8B— Patrick (@patrickbec) June 14, 2016 Bruce 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Follow me on: Twitter Instagram Youtube
Bruce Nunnally
.@patrickbec That mostly works with their plate shape. Looks like a tow hook mounting bracket would keep it out of the way for #atsv— Bruce Nunnally (@Caddyinfo) June 14, 2016 Bruce 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Follow me on: Twitter Instagram Youtube

Bruce Nunnally
@Caddyinfo smart, that would work nicely for a V but might block some bright work on a regular ATS.— Patrick (@patrickbec) June 14, 2016 Bruce 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Follow me on: Twitter Instagram Youtube
Bruce Nunnally
@patrickbec bah bright work it's all about air flow lol. I can try on both and see after it comes along. #cadillac— Bruce Nunnally (@Caddyinfo) June 14, 2016 Bruce 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Follow me on: Twitter Instagram Youtube
Bruce Nunnally
Today I received the Rho-plate license plate installation kit. Sorry my first step was not "wash the Cadillac"! The packaging is very nicely presented, so that each piece is easy to select. I was able to remove the tow bolt cover with no tools, just pulled it off. This bolt screws into the tow bolt hole and anchors the frame. Several pieces which allow easy rotation and adjustment screw onto the anchor bolt. The license bracket goes on next. This can be mounted in several different ways which allows degrees of freedom for placement. Finally I added the License plate to the bracket. This license plate placement keeps it out of the air intake flow, and away from the front parking / collision sensors, while allowing the plate mounting on the front of the car per state law. No holes were drilled. It did pass the freeway test at speed but has not been to the car wash yet (obviously) Bruce 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Follow me on: Twitter Instagram Youtube
BodybyFisher
Its time to get our legislators to eliminate the front plate, but I guess now with the traffic cams that will never happen Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm
