Shopping Convertibles: 1993 Cadillac Allante

I am interested in buying a 1993 Cadillac Allante. Mainly because it is the only convertible this seems to have reasonable trunk space. I am concerned about the reliability of the Northstar engine. Any insights would be very welcome. PS I am very new to  forms. Any help would be appreciated thank you.

Welcome to CaddyInfo.  I amended the topic title a bit.  When considering a car of any make that is 25 years old evaluation of current condition is everything.  The Allantes have model specific benefits and concerns in terms of specific parts sources.  A lot of people bought them as collector cars and they are a fair value.  Just take your time and find the 'perfect' one.

1993 and 1994 were good years for the northstar because they were still using the green coolant. But being a 25 year old car you might have some bugs.
