Gilstuff
I am interested in buying a 1993 Cadillac Allante. Mainly because it is the only convertible this seems to have reasonable trunk space. I am concerned about the reliability of the Northstar engine. Any insights would be very welcome. PS I am very new to forms. Any help would be appreciated thank you.
Bruce Nunnally
Welcome to CaddyInfo. I amended the topic title a bit. When considering a car of any make that is 25 years old evaluation of current condition is everything. The Allantes have model specific benefits and concerns in terms of specific parts sources. A lot of people bought them as collector cars and they are a fair value. Just take your time and find the 'perfect' one. barczy01
1993 and 1994 were good years for the northstar because they were still using the green coolant. But being a 25 year old car you might have some bugs.
