I have a 2007 CTS Sport 3.6 with FE5 suspension and JE5 braking package. The front struts have gone bad and i would like to swap out with the easy install complete assemblies. However these state that they are FE1 soft ride.... I am ok with going to FE1 since i drive on some pretty crappy roads and would welcome a softer ride. My biggest question is all the mounting brackets/holes/hardware etc the same? From what i understand from my build sheet it does NOT have magnetic ride control. It does have stabilitrack system though. I also plan on replacing the rear with FE1 if i can do the front swap outs.
