shadyTreeMech
Experiencing loss of power when driving on highway and ses light came on. ses is flashing. I figured it was probably a coil pack but, their expensive. I am getting multiple error codes. PCM p0300 - the unhelpful misfire code MSM b1850- driver lumbar? IPC u1000 - module not communicating? ABS c1246 brake lining sensor open circuit PCM p0442 - evaporative emission control system leak Any advice would be appreciated.
Bruce Nunnally
How often has this happened? The coil pack is a good guess, as they are maintenance items, which is to say they do need replacement at some point. But good to diagnose further first -- do you only get loss of power in certain conditions? Most frequent cause of the P0422 is loose fuel cap. barczy01
You need a good scanner to isolate what cylinder is misfiring. More that likely its a coil pack but pull the boots and plugs to check .
