AdrianH
Hello everyone I am writing this from Sweden, so sry for my bad english I am about to purchase a Cadillac Deville 2004 Dhs model, with about 135 000miles on it i was was about to buy it, but after trying the car out and taking it for a spin. I was surprised of the inside/cabin noise of the road and tires, (we are talking about speeds from 40 to75 miles per hour) The same day i tested a Seville from 2001 with about 100000 miles on it. And it was really quiet in the cabin in those speeds, sure the Seville rode on 16 inch tires and the Deville on 17 inch tires, could just one inch make such a difference in noise? The tire maker was Goodyear something with the name eagle and M,s, regards
rockfangd
Hello Welcome to Caddyinfo. I would check the Deville for feathering on the tires. It is also very possible it has a bad wheel bearing in the front. Does the noise change when turning right or left? It may be both sides. They can really howl when they are dry GM FAN FOREVER Nice, clean, luxury= fine automobile
