95Deville
The way I temporarily dealt with it (until warm weather) was to hold the little switch that's on the trunk lid latch until the striker in the trunk itself got into just the right position to allow the trunk to latch securely then I pulled the 20A fuse which is in the trunk on my '95 Deville & doesn't effect anything else. If you keep holding the switch the striker goes all the way down & then starts to rise again. It took 3 tries but I finally found just the right position for the striker, a little above the lowest position. Too low & it won't latch at all & too high & the trunk isn't sealed. I'd seen posts about turning the motor to get the striker in the right position but this is so much easier. Hope it helps.
