rockfangd
Welcome to CaddyInfo Forum. How does the transmission seem to be performing other than a clunk feel when shifting from a forward gear to a reverse gear? ie 1-2, 2-3 etc... Would not hurt to have someone watch the engine as you hold your brakes and go from reverse to drive and back to reverse. Excessive movement would indicate a bad mount GM FAN FOREVER Nice, clean, luxury= fine automobile
BodybyFisher
Is the engine racing too fast? Sometimes the throttle body needs cleaning and the RPMs will not return to normal at idle, and cause that slamming. Check the engine RPM at idle. In addition, the 93 has an ISC motor to control the idle speed and it can hang up.
