Cadillac's Station Wagon Comes With A Feature That Makes It Incredibly Fun To Drive

We just spent the better part of a week in the 2013 Cadillac CTS-V Wagon, a car that, despite being a station wagon, is hugely powerful and a tremendous amount of fun to drive.

With a $74,550 base price, the CTS-V is equipped with all the standard luxury amenities, but it also comes with a feature we have not spotted anywhere else.

That's the display that I normally ride with.

I see the lateral g arrows, does it also do g's for acceleration?

Unfortunately, no. I would like to see something on the big multipurpose screen like the display on performance meters. The guy in the article wants the lateral acceleration reading on a HUD.

Because the mileage and stuff is boring, and the lateral acceleration tells me what my traction margins are.

But you can feel the traction limits when you have to turn the the steering wheel the OTHER WAY and give it MORE GAS.... LOL

It's easy to go over 100% without realizing it sometimes. Also, it's kind of fun to note that you just hooked an 0.6 g right turn.

For negative g's, turn the other way.
