Can a V-series be far behind? The "I'm ready for anything" rake of the body can't be for just 300 hp, can it?

I hope that Cadillac remembers the Powell Doctrine in their engine choice. They seem to have done well in previous V-series choices and I would like to see that continue, although lately BMW M-series. AMG and even Ford have responded well to the challenges that GM has presented in the last several years, albeit not with really good daily driver cars.

The GM Powertrain lead in HP seemed insurmountable, but the joy of having a supercharged 6.2L V8 running at 89 hp/liter is that you know how to run up to 135 hp/liter safely...
