tat2CaddyMike
There is a thing on e-bay called the Mindblower. It claims increased mileage and horsepower. It hooks up to the air lfow sensor and claims to optimize the air fuel mix to optimum levels to give more hp and gas mileage. Is it simply a resistor taking the temp sensor out of the loop or does it really do anything to adjust the air fuel mix in any kind of beneficial way? Also, does anybody know anything about any of the so-called electric superchargers that claim 1 to 3 p.s.i. of boost from an electric motor. I know all about if it sounds too good to be true, but, never hurts to ask. Thanks, Mike.
Bruce Nunnally
Here's a buyer review on mindblower performance: http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/3rd-gen-performance-parts-discussion/111821-mindblower-performance-chip-scam-fraud.html I actually tried with my 1996 STS setting up an electric blower in the intake and testing. It slowed the car down in my tests. Bruce 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Follow me on: Twitter Instagram Youtube
