Bruce Nunnally
Reputation Points are a new feature of the Forum. When you read a post that you think is particularly wonderful, excellent, or CaddyInfo Quality, is you press the small green "+" sign in the lower right is will add a point to the Poster's reputation on the Forum. Likewise, if you press the red "-" sign to the lower right on a post you find ignorant or offensive or wrong-headed, is will detract a point form the Poster's reputation on the Forum. You can't rate your own posts. For now, only Supporting Members and BodyByFisher and I can add/subtract Reputation points. Each Supporting Member gets 5 points in a 24 hour period: 5 +'s and 5 -'s. You don't have to use any, but if you want to highlight a post that is a good way to do so. I am guessing that eventually Registered Readers will get 1 + and 1 - a day also, but I want to experiment with a smaller crowd first.
