I need to ask a question, but I don't have a clue what this is and would like to show you a picture if possible. Can I do that?

"Image clickable thumbnails for messageboards"

Man, I'm already lost- no wonder I can't work on cars!

What is that?

Woops, sorry, I assumed you read this reference post: http://caddyinfo.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=9759

To upload an image from your computer directly to the board here, while on the New Topic entry page, you go down to "File Attachments" and push the "Browse" button. Then you can navigate to the file on your PC. Then push the "Add attachment button" to upload the file to the board. Finally, push the "Add into Post" button (not visible until after you add an attachment) and that puts the image into your post at the current cursor location in the post.

The file will only add if it is less than 64k in size for registered users or 100k in size for Supporters.

The message here: http://caddyinfo.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=9759 explains how to load your image to photobucket.com instead of to the board, and then link from here to there. That's when you use the "Image clickable thumbnails for messageboards" which is a Photobucket.com option. Photobucket has a much larger limit to the image size, is easy to use, and does not count against our bandwidth on the board since it is served off their server.

IF you already have the image on the internet someplace, then you can use the image icon while in the "new topic" edit mode and just type or cut and paste the address (URL) of the image.
