JimD Posted June 3, 2006 Report Share Posted June 3, 2006 Bruce: Give some thought to adding a TIPS area that could include generic shortcuts and other just plain old good ideas that might make it easier to understand vehicle systems and keep our cars rolling safely. As an example, here is one one I have been doing for years that others might find useful. Use a magic marker to highlight the MAX and MIN fluid levels on your master cylinder. Then watch the fluid level drop as your brake pads wear away. Resist the temptation to add brake fluid unless you know for certain you have a leak.
