Bruce Nunnally Posted July 5, 2017 Report Share Posted July 5, 2017 i have a 2007 cadillac dts with a left mirror assembly that has separated from the door, but still on the car due to the folding mirror and power mirror electrical cables, which still work. i see two plastic bolts that slide out with it. how do i reattach it to the car. OldCadTech Posted July 5, 2017 Report Share Posted July 5, 2017 Are all three bolts still in place? Usually they can be replaced without taking off the door panel. Remove the cover on the inside of the door, slightly above the door panel. they usually have some pretty healthy clips holding the cover on. Use a good door panel puller. In the second photo it is the trim around the top of the door, but you shouldn't have to take the entire piece off, simply work around it or have someone hold it carefully out of the way. THERE IS ALWAYS ENOUGH TIME TO DO THE JOB RIGHT - THERE IS NEVER ENOUGH TIME TO DO THE JOB AGAIN !!! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
