Bruce Nunnally
welcome. Three things are required for a car to start -- it must get fuel, it must get gas, and it must get spark (at the right time). To diagnose we start validating that each of these is true. Did you have any symptoms before it stopped starting? Do you have any diagnostic trouble codes showing? BodybyFisher
To check for codes you can do it yourself. Turn the key to ON, not running, press and hold the HI and OFF buttons on your HVAC panel at the same time until you see the instrument panel light up in test mode. Have a pencil ready and write down the codes as they come up. A trick is to use your cell phone video camera and tape the codes as they come up, they come fast and its hard to write them down quick enough. If you have to you can restart by pressing the buttons again. Turn the key off when you see PCM?
