Dash board clips

I have a 2003 Deville, the dash that sits underneath the steering column is falling down on the right side. Does anyone have any suggestions? Mechanic said the plastic clips broke are these available or is there another way?

Can you remove the part to examine what has snapped?  My impression from your description is that either the 'clips' are actually built into the part and the part will need to be replaced, or the clips are replaceable with regular body plastic rivets.  I suspect the clips are build into the part, and the part is fairly expensive to replace if available.  Then we will want to look at alternative solutions like adding a replacement clip to the part, double sided tape, etc.
