KHE Posted December 1, 2016 Report Share Posted December 1, 2016 Do not remove the sensor without first having a shop recover the refrigerant. The car is drivable without refrigerant in the system. Doing the diagnostics that I outlined will pinpoint the problem so you do not replace good parts. Unplug the wiring from the sensor, then take the plug and use a small piece of wire to connect the pins of the harness together. You then run the codes to see if the ACM 1312 code is history and ACM 1313 is current. Then remove the wire and reconnect the sensor.
