New Coil Springs with struts?

Recommended Posts

I have to replace the front struts on my 2002 ETC Eldorado with 85k miles.

I like the ride to be right.

Is there much percentage in purchasing new front springs?

And the car's height is fine.

THANKS in advance.

I replaced the shocks and struts in my 1997 ETC at about 155,000 miles in 2012. I had new coil springs but after measuring the ride height and talking to some people, I decided not to use them. I offered them here for months, then took them to the dump. The attendant instantly retrieved them and probably used them for coffee table legs.

I'll look up the ride height diagram and specs for the 2002 ETC if you like.

Agree with other members. Do note that it will be higher when the new springs are installed, until they are seated and worn in.

I put all new in my 97 Seville and it was about 2" higher for about 1 month and it settled down to normal. I used oem replacement everything.

GM FAN FOREVER

Nice, clean, luxury= fine automobile
