Bruce Nunnally
Just as Porsche offers a 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS http://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/a26021/porsche-911-gt3-rs-first-drive/ Should Cadillac offer an aero and power variant of the ATS-V as the ATS-V GT3? Basically add aero bodywork, add a wrap, turn boost up to 525 hp or so, raise the price, and sell more cars? Cadillac Jim
I think that they should offer it, even if it must be a no-VIN-no-plates race car. If they offer a street version, and it is necessary to modify it to meet noise, emissions, or safety regulations, they should not market it as if it is the same car that they race - like some marques do. So, they could offer an ATS-V/R with no VIN, like they do the Camaro and some other cars that are raced, and/or an ATS-V/R-SL, marked as street legal. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars.
