Brooklands Aero Screen

Interesting -- take windscreen off, put Brooklands Aero Screens up

A new in box British made reproduction "Brooklands" aero screen. Round top laminated safety glass in a polished aluminum die cast frame with chromed brass fittings. "Brooklands" raised lettering front center of frame. Pics of item for bidding, buyer pays shipping ( varies upon buyers location ). Questions welcome.

You would need two to be authentic. I saw one SS100 where the driver's screen was a bit taller than the passenger's. The originals seem to have these behind the windshield, which is folded down forward, for what purpose? Sport look? Racing? I guess the real SS drivers look through two windscreens when the main is up.

The windscreen provides a significant aerodynamic cross-section as compared with the smaller brooklands aero screen. For racing the smaller screen would allow a bit higher top speed.

Fun. Is the windscreen done so that it fold down, or are the Brooklands there instead of the windshield?
