Bruce Nunnally
My next engine item will be to remove the poorly testing air horn and rebaseline. Then I have an offie intake still waiting a test turn. This topic will carry test info and results Bruce 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Follow me on: Twitter Instagram Youtube

Bruce Nunnally
The one odd spike downward in our testing so far has been after I added this carb air horn, which was designed to improve the air flow into the carb by smoothing the incoming air path. In my tests the 3TC engine lost horsepower with this in. This is the reason I advocate for testing things -- to see what difference they make in the real world in a specific vehicle and setup. Not testing is why some people add a bunch of mods then don't understand why the car doesn't run faster. Good karma on the reinstall -- carb went right back in, no dropped parts, no issues on start-up, no fuel leaks. Took the Roadster around the block and it is running smoothly.
