General Instructions & Information About This Build Thread

Recommended Posts

This sub forum will cover the autocross racing build of my 2002 Cadillac Eldorado ESC (Sport Coupe).

I will have an overview thread that will summarize the build and may also copy that information into other forums and my facebook account (s). I will not include deep technical discussions about specific modifications in that thread. I will create specified threads such as Brakes, Suspension, Exterior, Tires /Wheels, etc. In those threads, I will post more pics and information as well as discus each mod with other members.
You can subscribe to each thread individually or to this whole sub forum.

This car is one of my CadVetteStang creations in that I have modeled parts of the build up by studying Corvettes and Mustangs. The rear end, ram -air intake and paint job will be heavily influenced by Mustang. The front brakes will be influenced by Corvette. The wheels will either be Corvette or Mustang. And when the Northstar gives out, it may be replaced by a 550 horsepower LS7 from a Corvette or CTS-V.
I will also have a general photo album thread and a 2002 Eldorado info thread giving the stock specifications and history of the 02 Eldorado.
And finally there will be a video thread covering my Autocross racing efforts.

I am limited for time to post and finances to make these mods, so expect to see many salvage yard swaps and budget build considerations.
Be patient. I have waited 20 years to build a last generation Eldorado. The pace of this build may take a year or so.
Cody

The way I do pictures to forums is...

Get a free Photobucket account...

Upload your pictures to the free account...

Make a few folders to organize your pictures if you want to...

When you move the mouse over a picture, a little gear will pop up on the upper right corner of the picture.

Move the mouse over the gear and a menu will drop down... click on GET LINKS... click on the bottom one...IMG Codes

Then come to the forum and do a PASTE and your FULL SIZE picture is then here.
