djdiaz85
i just got this 96 caddy deville. the old owner told me, he tryed to replace the stock base model stereo. He couldnt do it. im sure he caused a short some where, because radio doesnt come on, the button for the gas door and trunk does not work. any ideas on what i should try?? checked all fuses. the radio fuse was the only one broken. i did replace that fuse.. winterset
I would do a disconnect of the ground at the battery (And while you're at it, clean the terminals). Although, I suspect the trunk and gas are not working because the valet button are pressed in the glove box. - the reset may help the radio. do you have the clock on the radio?
