CaddyInfo Group: Lifetime Supporter

Recommended Posts

After our CaddyInfo Live Chat tonight I created a new group here on CaddyInfo for "Lifetime Supporter".

For now the group has a special logo/annotation, and privileges similar to a Supporter. I plan to expand the privileges for this group.

For the initial Lifetime Supporters I have promoted everyone who has more than 3,000 posts on the current forum.

Congratulations to:

  • BodyByFisher
  • Ranger
  • KHE
  • Cadillac Jim
  • Texas Jim (although he still has to be in the Staff group)
  • JimD
  • HUF
  • WarrenJ
  • Marika

Thank you for your ongoing support of CaddyInfo.com!! Please continue to share your knowledge & wisdom!

Thank YOU!

If you really want to make people safe drivers again then simply remove all the safety features from cars. No more seat belts, ABS brakes, traction control, air bags or stability control. No more anything. You'll see how quickly people will slow down and once again learn to drive like "normal" humans.

Thank you Bruce; I'm proud to be a contributor whenever I'm able. Not currently a Cadillac owner.

My search for a "reasonably priced" CTS Coupe continues.

Thanks Jim. Same offer if you find one in Dallas I would be happy to help inspect, taxi you from airport, etc. I like the CTS Coupe they are literally rolling art.

I found lots of CTS-V and STS-V cars through the KBB.com car search, cars.com, and other such. Bruce saw the one that I bought on his radar before it showed up on the lot, though, and he took off work to test-drive it the minute it showed up on the lot, and I bought it on the spot on Bruce's cell phone just as it went on sale. But, short of that sort of thing, you can see what's out there at any given time with a cars.com search.

If you have a dealer that works with you a lot, all of the big ones have a business-to-business internet thing where they can find cars for you that you won't see on cars.com because people like him have plucked these cars out of the stream for favorite customers. But you can get a feel for what is out there and the price range with a weekly look at cars.com and such. Then, once the numbers and the cars come together for you, and knowing what you want to buy and how much it costs, you can focus on what's do-able and, well, do it.

I agree with the comments regarding the CTS Coupe, to me its sex on wheels! Most outstanding car I have ever seen

I would have loved to have the coupe and a standard shift but the selection in good used V2's is spotty and they tend to go fast when they appear on the market. The one I got is definitely The One, though.

Very generous offer, Bruce. I am not quite in a position to squeeze the trigger; but when all my ducks achieve a straight line, I will pass the word to all (including my local Cadillac dealer).

Include the Philly area in your search and keep me posted if something comes up. I'm quite capable of showing up at a lot with cell phone in hand and checking out a car for you. If it's on the South Jersey side of the river, I know two dealers that would be able to check it out for us.

I hardly drive it. It was always garage kept up until a few years ago. Original owner was from Tennessee, and they said it was pampered and garage kept. I keep a car cover on it now.

dont forget the pictures too

I posted pics already. I guess I need to post them in the photo section?

I still want one of those grills, but all stainless, no gold. They're to expensive though.
