ziggie
I assume no one has ever had the window switchs go out all of a sudden. because of "No Replies" but a lot of views! The radio FM went out also later....SOooo I going after it. Ok, I found out that the whole problem was caused by the right-rear door seal drain holes were stopped up when the door is closed and water filled up in this door till it ran out of the speaker grille and into the RR floor area SO #1 enlarge these holes so the water will go outside. I then pulled out the whole inside ---- well, not the headliner or dash but all the carpet and seats... I over did it but didn't know that at the time. I found corroded/broken wires at a poorly protected connector in the RR floor where a large bundle of wires are at, "believe me you can't miss them". I also fixed some surface rust in that area and painted same as well. All is well as it's been a couple months now so by :-) Zig

Texas Jim
Most of us on this site would be classed as Cadillac "Enthusiasts "... This forum is a little different from most...we don't do a lot of crying and complaining... we just state our problem and there is "USUALLY" someone that can help you. Then we fix it and enjoy driving it again...
