N* HP Gains?

I guess that this is not common with the 06-11 DTS.

If you mean headers or duals ... you are right.

There is almost "NOTHING" available to make our cars perform better.

That's why I went the "TUNING" route... that's about the only thing there is.

So cutting these mufflers out and throwing in a couple of flowmasters wouldn't make a whole lot of a difference would it?

This is just my opinion... I have no facts to back it up... :) :)

It would (of course) make it a little louder... but as far as HP gains... maybe a tiny bit.

I haven't did it to mine for just that reason... if I thought it would help, I would have done it long ago.

One might still get more power from performance mufflers, but I agree the restriction is the single cat / resonator. Re-plumbing for dual from the exhaust manifold back would have to be a custom install, and so more expense than value.
