Bruce Nunnally
I am hopeful it will look good in person. Very similar to the Buick Lacrosse if one has to pick a cousin, but certainly the Malibu is on the same platform and is also an excellent car. Plenty of time was spent on design to make this a good Cadillac. The core problem with platform re-use is if the base platform is poor -- you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. On the other hand, if you start with the already good Epsilon II platform, then add Cadillac premium features the XTS should turn out well. I also hope that the hybrid powertrain from the show car makes it to production, along with an optional next-gen V8.
