Cadillac Jim
B1552 Keep Alive Memory (KAM) Error B2781 Wrong Resistor After Good The B1552 is set when the battery is disconnected. The B2781 is set when there is a bad connection in the contacts to the resistor in your ignition key. This may be due to worn contacts in the key. A new ignition key would fix that. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars.
