frband
I just purchased a 2007 Escalade ESV. I have a question about the lamps in the headlight assembly. The bottom light is the HID lamp. The top one is the daytime running lights. What is the middle light for? Mine never comes on but there is a bulb in it.
dmk9561
High-beam? High beams are never HID because they don't stay on long enough and would suffer diminished life, and modern GM trucks no longer use the high beam as the DRL.
Cadillac Jim
The middle bulbs are probably parking lights. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars.
