Texas Jim
That evening I put Mike behind the wheel of my ride and told him to have at it. He chickened (but in a gentlemanly manner). I just thought it necessary-like to demo what he'd missed. Cluck! Regards, Warren Understand completely .... I would expect no less. BodybyFisher
Next year, Ill bring my 28 year old, the first time he got into my 91 Seville, he FLOORED it on Queens, NY roads, I close to lost my mind... My other son got into my 96 Deville the FIRST day I had it and turned up the stereo and blew the rear speakers... I don't know a 70% WOT with someone elses baby, I think is adequate, Gentlemanly, I would say... I know Warren was disappointed in my perceived wimpyness... but he would have been proud of me today doing 90+ on 347.. The alternative is only whether the crisis should come sooner as the result of a voluntary abandonment of further credit expansion, or later as a final and total catastrophe of the currency system involved. - Ludwig von Mises
BodybyFisher
Actually did 97 last year chasing an Audi S4, accent on chasing... as soon as I realized how fast I was going in a 50 zone, I took my foot off the gas and got a CHECK ENGINE LIGHT... that romp was a little rough for the ole girl.. BodybyFisher
What caused the check engine light to come on? I pulled out of the throttle very fast probably too fast at that speed, I got some sort of an ignition or fueling code, I did a search but can't find it Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm
Texas Jim
I need to take mine out west a few miles....out on I-20... get away from town and stand on it a bit. See how it runs from about 80 on up to 130 or so. It only takes a few seconds to do that. It changes from 2nd to 3rd at 85. It will probably still be in 3rd at 130.... just getting ready to change to 4th. I haven't had it over 95 yet and that was just going up an entrance ramp onto the freeway. Had to immediately let off and let it slow down. Darn it. I actually haven't drove it much at all since the tune. Ten and eleven hour workdays, don't leave much time for playing. I am taking another "ROAD TRIP" the week after Christmas. Don't yet know where I am going. But I "AM" going. SOMEWHERE. Kinda thinking about going to Florida or Colorado. Depends on the weather mostly.
