Richard B. Posted July 29, 2008 Report Share Posted July 29, 2008 I have a '90 Sedan Deville that started leaking a little antifreeze foe about 2 weeks. It leaks when I shut off the car, for about 3 or 4 minutes then stops. The fluid has always been full untill 3 or 4 days ago, I added about 4 or 5 cups of water. A day or two before it was low it started to make a low whining noise, like a power steering whine but not as loud. The leak is coming from top drivers side of the radiator, between it and the condenser. I wanted to know if this whining noise is the water pump starting to go or something else.
