JimD
That is the method I have used on my '98 but I did not buy a 'kit'. And I removed the headlamp assembly to avoid accidental damage to the body paint. Jim Drive your car. Use your cell phone. CHOOSE ONE !
JIMDTS
I have cleaned up the lens on the headlights several times. I have used is 2000grit wet & dry sandpaper to remove nicks & scratches thenjust buff them up with rubbing compound If they have no nicks or scratches then I just buff them by hand with rubbing compound If you are very careful you can use a buffing wheel & use plenty of compound on the plastic lens Most of the time I do them by hand. Va Maddog
Has anyone had any success trying to clean the inside of the lens? The headlight lenses on my wife's 2000 Olds van are cloudy on the inside - ugh.
Ranger
Most lenses are permanently fixed and thus uncleanable inside.
