BodybyFisher
When you get a chance visit the 19th Hole (top) and tell us what you think of us getting together for regional meetings. We are exploring this idea and are open to any thoughts you might have. See the first post its a rough guide that we can expand on and refine: Here is a link to the top of the 19th Hole: http://caddyinfo.ipbhost.com/index.php?showforum=40 Edited December 10, 2006 by BodybyFisher Quote Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm

BodybyFisher
This is getting a lot less interest than I thought it would from our recent discussions. Its seemed that we had a lot of interest from the New Jersey, Virginia, Pennsylvania and New York areas. Bruce Nunnally
Sometimes once you identify a place/date/time then people are more responsive. One good piece of advice I got for arranging get-togethers is to plan it for somewhere YOU want to go. Then if NO ONE else shows up, you're still golden. abad95
Hi everybody, I defenitely want to have a get together.I think it would be nice to actually know/see the board members and not imaging them by their nicknames. I'm in the Chicagoland area and would drive the Caddy as far as 500 miles from Illinois. I do have realtives in Cali, and AZ and that would't be a problem either, but I do want to have my car there too. Summertime is best I think.Hoildays are not good for me, as I like to spend them with my family. And defenitely on a weekend it would be best.(extended weekend) that is. We just have to see how many people are willing, and when is the best time for eveybody. Planning ahead is key. I actually think it would make the "Caddyinfo" better,at least for the Die-hard Cadillac Fans (Board members). Just think:You just read this and thinking "abad95",and in reality I'm a nice guy. JimD
There is probably more interest than responses, Mike. Just give us two or three reasons (excuses), other than Cadillacs, to go to a specific location and you will probably get more comments. I would expect somewhere in NJ, NY, or PA could attract a large attendance (population density). For me, Dayton, OH, would be high on the list simply because of the Wright Patterson Air Force Museum. billybob
I agree with the tri state area being a good choice for a caddy meet there are most likely more caddy owners in the tri state than anywhere else as far as I can see New York, New Jersey, and last Pa. GreenMachine
if it weren't for the fact that parking was so terrible around the Buffalo Convention Center I would say we could all meet up during the Autoshow week in February or the Classic Car Show thats just after it. Regis
A Cadillac rally at Buffalo and in the month of February? No thanks. I think a warmer location or time of year would be preferred. But that's just a guess. lol Besides my sts doesn't exactly look sexy this time of year with the winter package on. stsjoe
Buffalo in February ? I'll be the car sliding in on its roof at 60MPH Atlantic City is probably a good location or split it and have a North East/ Eastern Seaboard meet and try and meet in the middle. BodybyFisher
Personally I LOVE Virginia Beach..... Cape May, Wildwood, Philadelphia. I used to have a connection with Ruggerie General Sales Cadillac in West Chester, Pa. Maybe Ill give them a call and see if they can do anything. If you recall, Marika took photos at a Cadillac show at Brogan Cadillac, something like that would be fun... epricedright
Nothing against the east coast, but my vote is for the "Ultimate" fun town. . . . Las Vegas!
Cadillac Jim
Atlantic City is a lot like Las Vegas, except that, outside of town, you have South Jersey and the Pinelands, not the Nevada countryside. It's an excellet place to meet for all the same reasons that Atlantic City is an excellent place: inexpensive hotel rooms, world-class entertainment downstairs in all the big hotels, easy parking and good oppurtunity for outdoor photo ops, ect. Since across the continental USA we have about 3300 miles, or two days driving time, I think that we need to pick more than one spot and have regional meets. The 500-mile driving radius should give us a good basis for picking central spots. winterset
Northeast (can be Atlantic City as mentioned). I recall there's alot of us in Texas. maybe a spot out there can be good for some of you. - or Las Vegas. We will be separate, but at lease there will be a collective for all. we can post some video of each on youtube or such. I think it'll be tough to get the entire US in a single spot, especially when we all will drive our caddys there. BTW, I typed this, then noticed it was discussed, but I'll send anyway - as I was giving this some thought since BBF's email. We just need to get a date in place for the NE. I'll start, then we can either eliminate, then work to a week, then work to a specific weekend/day. I'll vote specifically for June 10th in Atlantic city. July will probably be tough, as lot's of people plan extended vacations, and later in June people tend to have graduations & such. Also, driving down to AC in early June should have less traffic than July/August.
stsjoe
We just need to get out before the Sunday buses with retired people show up AC and Vegas are the only places I've had older people elbow me out of the way No offense to the retired folk
