2008 CTS-V and S/C Norhstar?

Recommended Posts

No, although we had mentioned that the CTS is getting the width of the STS, presumably to allow the Northstar, or in this case the S/C Northstar, to fit. The high beltline thing someone had mentioned to me in person, but I had not seen it online.

I am neutral on the side grill slat things, although it would be fun if they did them as Buick does, so if the slats have 3 openings, the car has a V6, and 4 openings for a V8.

^if I had my way open headers out of those things :)

I think the render is somewhat off considering we've seen on the 60 minutes what it might look like, the render isn't bad though. I hope they keep a manual in the CTS-V, or atleast as an option, keep that hot-rod with a tux image alive, plus it would be nice to have complete control over a Northstar for once :)

If they can keep it about the price it is now, it will still sell well...and will actually be a better bargin than the STS V8 Northstar. Current gen CTS-V starts at $51,000. The STS V8 luxury performance package starts at $60,000, when you think about it, 10 grand more and you get the most powerful production cadillac ever made.

Thats something to think about and might be why the STS isn't selling as well as predicted.
