Hi, all. Been a few years since my last post. Still have a pair of baby Cadillacs (Eldo + Seville -90). Today I have a problem that You may be able to solve for me? I bought a 1989 Cavalier Z24 convertible in nice condition but the age still takes its tribute. Need new "belt weather strips" for all four side windows. Not sure it´s the correct name for them? It´s the on on the outside that goes dirktly on the glass. Found the GM number for the ones in the doors (12360577 left side, 12360576 right side) but since the modell was never sold in Sweden there are no parts …… Been searching on the net but no luck. Very greatful if anyone can help me out! Göran W

No, I can´t give a good explanation. This was what the dealer had told the owner. Very surprised they can´t diagnose the problem. All I know is that the engine don´t turn. I hope to come back with codes.

Got contacted today by the owner of an CTS 3,6 -05. Only 15k on the odometer. The car has an issue: No contact whit CPU and key! He took the car to dealer but they could not solve it. Charged him almost 1000$ for the search........ I do not have any codes yet but maybe someone has a idea anyway? BTW. Does the CTS -05 have built in code reader like STS?

You may have something there..... Have the mufflers ever been changed? I´ve seen aftermarket silencer clogging up from internal corrosion when the isolation plugs the flow.

I would try to find something closer to the original size. Modern wheels are not the best option for the design. The handling also benefits from high, thin, tires.
